L’UFA est un réseau de 194 établissements d’enseignement supérieur français et allemands qui proposent en tout 185 cursus intégrés binationaux et trinationaux, accueillant tous les ans quelque 6 400 étudiants.
Les Houches School of Physics Les Houches School of Physics
Les Houches School of Physics has been welcoming physicists from around the world since 1951. The School has seen the biggest names in modern physics training young researchers at the start of their careers, some of whom have since won Nobel prizes for physics. The school perpetuates a tradition of excellence, while continuing to adapt to the evolutions of science.
Groupe de Recherche Groupe de Recherche "Spectroscopie Moléculaire"
Molecular spectroscopy is a very important and lively research domain. For historical reasons, the French spectroscopy community has acquired unique theoretical and experimental competences which we want to develop and nurture, at a moment where spectroscopic data are crucially needed for many fundamental and applied fields. In order to maintain and develop this potential, the Groupe de Recherche (GdR) SPECMO promotes the career development of the young researchers and students. Our GdR is very active, with members organizing workshops, conferences, meetings and summer schools in their particular specialist areas. The GdR is a scientific network with a dedicated mailing list for easy communication. Many national and pan-European projects have matured between members of the GdR.
GDR EMIE GDR EMIE
The research group Edifices Moléculaires Isolés et Environnés (EMIE, Isolated and Interacting Molecular Assemblies) brings together the French community of physicists and chemists working on molecular systems, and covering a wide range of size and complexity. The objects under scrutiny are either isolated in the gas phase or surrounded by a controlled environment. The main goal of the studies undertaken by EMIE members is to better describe and understand matter at the atomic and molecular scales. Building upon fundamental aspects of experimental and theoretical molecular physics, our community is naturally inclined to benefit from interactions with other disciplines (chemistry, biology) and to extend its fields of applications to other scientific domains with timely societal impacts (biology, atmospheric and universe sciences, energy)
